I remember the first time I talked about this colour; that was probably two years ago here and a reader said na. Anyways, that style is trending right now.
You will think that this posts comes with mathematical calculations, years of extensive research and scientific notions and theories that support my claim. No, it’s nothing serious. It’s just me making a case for combining pink and orange.
The combination looks really good in almost every shade as I have noticed. More so, it does not scream color blocking like you would expect.
Let these pictures convince you!
Taylor Swift
She wore this oufit by Atelier Versace to 2016 Grammy Awards which landed her on many ‘Best Dressed’ lists.
Pink and orange can also be paired the differently from Taylor Swift’s version. By this, I mean that wearing pink a pink top and orange bottom also looks really good. As a matter of fact, I prefer the latter combination as seen below:
Beyonce

She’s wearing a pink Balenciaga V-Neck Cashmere Sweater and orange Nina Ricci Crepe Skirt

Solange

She performed at 2014 Jazz Festival in New Orleans in an orange blouse and light pink Clover Canyon shorts
For her 30th birthday in New Mexico, Solange donned this $240 Diane von Furstenberg Nori one shoulder chiffon dress.
Heidi Klum
Kim Kardashian-West
Zina Anumudu
Zina paired this pink crop top by Kale Kulema and burnt orange pants from Wana Sambo
Garcelle Beauvais
Makida Moka
The model paired this pink cold shoulder top with a pleated double-layer skirt, both by Fruche Official
Sydney Summer

Apparently, the key to combining these colors is, the darker your skin tone, the darker shades you should go for. Except of course, you are Solange, in which case, any and everything is allowed!
