Nigeria Musicians and Second Hand Music Productions

Okay I really want to talk about this issue after Cynthia Morgan did the Rihanna "Work" remix. It is not funny any more, since good music died in Nigeria. I know many wonderful music hearts that killed their flow just to join the shouting bands of Terry G and Timaya company; talk of Djinee, Chidinma, Iyanya and so many others; even our very own Terry Jesus. I bet to correct that it wasn't their original flow we hear - Nigeria atmosphere dictates on what the "artist" sings. Who knows, Chee, Praiz, Bez and Timi Dakolo?
The craze for shouts and party beats has gone a little downwards since, Wizkids "Surulere" evolved to the higher level. Oh! If only he can maintain the shape. No more music! No more songs. Only Phyno and KC seems to be surviving with traditional songs. Or how many hits single has 2016 produced from Nigeria. It is more of beef, class and less of hardwork.

Then I heard Cynthia Morgan remix Rihanna's work and am heart broken. After virtually all Nigerian turned Adele's "Hello" to a worship song - Only remix by Omowumi, and co, even my precious Genevieve Nnaji joined the trend. It suddenly sounds boring to hear that sweet "Hello" anymore, Nigerians have messed that wonderful track up. Let me not go on with the Remix trend but you know Nigerians are cursed with the trend of stucking and not pulling out of a post. It may forever remain a world of remix for the Nigerian music scene.

It can't be original brother Jazzy.

Why can't they remix our songs? And did I hear them wanting to win Grammys. #I laugh in spanish# Nigerians should wake up and promote cool music too. It shouldn't sound cool when it's foreign and stupid when our sweet Bez and Asa sings - they merely survive by living abroad.

Am tired of the second hand music and remix. Somebody should tell someone to tell everybody, even the artists that we need no second hand artist to smile with our money to the bank.

Good morning fellas.
